Maddy Rose, a soul and pop singer-songwriter from Salzburg, is currently based in Vienna. With her soulful and jazzy voice, she evokes legends like Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones. Her music combines intellectual melodies with a vintage flair and feminine strength. Maddy studied songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, where she seized every opportunity to perform live and develop her unique artistry. Her four-year stay in London not only honed her practical skills but also provided invaluable experience in the live music scene. Back in Vienna, Maddy Rose is known not only for her own performances but also for her active involvement in the Austrian music scene. In 2020, she received support from the Austrian Music Fund for her album Pure. She was awarded a scholarship from the JAM Music Lab for a Master’s degree in Jazz and Pop vocals and won the "Rock The Island Contest" at the Donauinselfest. She is currently working on her upcoming album.
